We Beat the National Average
John Manley here, with my last post for Perth-Wellington PPC. Now that Wayne is not super busy on the campaign trail he'll be handling this email newsletter from here on. It's been a joy—well, maybe joy is an exaggeration—an honour to have helped the local PPC team win more votes in the last election. Geoff Hotson summed up my feelings quite succinctly in a recent email to us:
Congratulations to Wayne and his dedicated team of hard workers who spread the PPC message over the past few weeks. 5300 votes and 10% is something to be very proud of. A huge increase over the 894 votes two years ago. And the 10% is about twice the PPC national average. Your message is being heard, loud and clear. Keep it going.
While I won't be assisting directly with spreading the PPC's message, I am returning to my two other long-standing projects to stop the corona madness:
  1. Much Ado About Corona: Since the first lockdown back in April 2020, I have been writing a full-length novel about "true love and a fake pandemic." This dystopian love story will be released later this year. To find out more check out MuchAdoAboutCorona.ca.
  2. Perth Public Sanity: And back in April of this year, I launched a site dedicated to "stopping the nutty new (ab)normal" that the Perth-Huron Public Health unit is propagating. If you live in Perth County I encourage you to sign up at PerthPublicSanity.ca.
I'll still be promoting the People's Party of Canada, supporting them as I can and look forward to meeting you at future events and rallies. —John C. A. Manley | Retiring Webmaster
