Gimli & Gandhi: What are you waiting for?

Do you remember these brave words of Gimli form the third Lord of the Rings movie? "Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?"

Except, today, we have a good chance of success. And no one is going to die. So, if you haven't already voted, what are you waiting for?

As PPC leader Maxime Bernier said last night in an email: "We’re the only party fighting for our rights and freedoms against five authoritarian leftist parties. A strong performance for the PPC is the only way to stop the rise of authoritarianism in Canada. This may be the most important election in our lifetime."

In an article yesterday, Dr. Joseph Mercola warns: "We are in the middle of the biggest, most effective propaganda war in the history of the world, designed to make us helpless, obedient and docile. The end goal is to create a totalitarian world regime."

But we are not helpless. In fact, volunteers across the country have been working every day for the last month to get as many PPC candidates into Ottawa as possible.

And those candidates will certainly not be obedient to any totalitarian world regime.

And we the people will not be docile.

But if you think your vote doesn't matter, I'd wager that's exactly what they want you to think.

In the end, we can only do what is right. As Wayne Baker often says, the rest is up to God. But God helps those who help themselves.

Remember the words of Mahatma Gandhi (who worked for three decades to free India from colonial rule):

It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.

Over the last eighteen months the federal and provincial governments have committed acts we would have thought were reserved for communist dictatorships and third-world military coups. The following music video by Five Times August, while depicting the situation south of the border, captures the tragic state Canada has also descended to:

Please watch the music video, send this message to all your friends and family, and be sure to vote today (if you have not done so already).

Remember that there is only one party—the People's Party of Canada—that has promised to put an end to the Corona World Order. And only one candidate in Perth-Wellington—Wayne Baker—that has promised to push government overreach out of your life.

PS Election Canada states in their COVID FAQ that anyone claiming a mask exemption for medical reasons will be allowed to vote without a mask. Proof of such exemption is not required. Nonetheless, certain polling stations may not honour this policy. Wayne Baker is asking that you still vote, even if they insist on a mask. Voting Wayne Baker into parliament will put us far closer to extinguishing such ridiculous mandates as wearing a petri dish on you face.

PPS You can also bring this PDF file with you to the polling station and use it if you experience any issues regarding masking, vaccination status or abstaining from contact tracing.
